August/September Applicants PGWP timeline

Glad to see many of you guys got approval.

Let me put my timeline.

Applied: May 07, 2015

Open Work Permit fee Paid: Aug 25, 2015

Status: they just READ and no updates until now

idk what the heck is going on..

Contact ur MP. I have seen few people from those days got their approvals via this technique. I know its very painful. But ull b getting urs soon.

I meant I paid $155 on May 07 first, and then paid $100 for open work permit holder..

There were many people who made these payments separately.

How am I supposed to contact them? I don't even know what MP is and does

Did anyone experience a similar problem like mine? your comments/sharing are greatly appreciated

I got CIC's request to submit additional document for my PGWP and uploaded as its instruction yesterday (13 Jan) at 11.30 AM. In MyCIC account screen, it says " Once you've uploaded the document(s) requested, you will receive a confirmation message in your MyCIC account."

However, I have not received the confirmation message as of today (10.00 AM on 14 Jan), which I assumed the system would have automatically generated once I successfully uploaded the document.

A friend of mine experienced the same, and her application was refused as there was not enough document for CIC officer to process.

I called CIC agent early this morning, he said in the system he saw my uploaded document.

Just make sure when you click on submitted documents , it should show provided, for the one you just attached.

Hey guys mine is spousal open work permit. I applied on 6th September. Blank update on 5th November. No approval yet. Today I had a talk with CIC agent. He is saying that cic inspectors are reviewing your file and working on it. You will get your work permit very soon
Did any one has experienced this thing? If yes please let me know after how many days u got your permit?

Hey guys,

My online application put on Sep. 15 finally got approved yesterday. According to the confirmation letter, it should be approved on Dec 30th since the expiration date is Dec 29, 2018. There might be a slight delay on CIC system, I guess.

Here is my time line

Applied on Sep. 15
Updated on Sep. 16, Nov. 10 and Dec 30.
Approved on Jan. 9 (?)
Mail: Pending

Hope everybody gets approval soon.
