Does anyone send CELPIP GENERAL-LS as language proof? I am not the case but my friend did. She sent her application on or about Aug 30 and just got them back with a ridiculous reason showing The language evidence submitted with your application is not on the list of acceptable evidence. I have seen few people in this forum got their returned. When they called to CIC, they were told that there must have been some mistakes. They were asked to send the exact same appliction with a cover letter. I feel so bad for those people as their time was just wasted and CIC keeps making the same mistake. Further, my brother took the exam a month ago to prove his language skills as he is still in the university.

Well, there is nothing I can do for now. But it is a real fun game eh?

I did. No application return and E-CAS has two records: RECEIVED and IN-PROGRESS. I hope they will not return application with the same reason.

This is the same case with coco4, he submitted General LS result and got his application returned. he posted this last october 15

just a FYI.. i called up CIC again.. CELPIP G LS is very much accepted. infact they could not figure out why it was returned. and have asked me to send the docs again with cover letter asking them to call me with the valid reason. so sending my file again.

Did you try E-Cas?

FYI, you have been added to the above list. As you can see, there are applicants from 1st week of August who are still waiting for any news from CIC. So, you shouldn't worry much.

So, I finally called CIC to get an update. The lady who picked up (after 16 min wait time) finally was pretty calm and nice. Although the automated voicemail calims that CIC are still working on applicantions received before July 25; she told me that they are working on applications received on/before August 5 (some progress eh!).

Well, my file is not open yet and not into the system. As I mentioned my specifics to verify; she was comparing with my immigration address, ph number etc. They don't match and hence the conclusion that my file hasn't been updated. She didn't ask when I submitted my application at first and I did not mention either.

Thanks. I'll wait. I am just curious, I just want to know that the application was fine. In my case I changes my legal name, I wonder if that matter may make my application slower.

Looks like some of applicants who received AOR by e-mail still have no e-cas activated. Lol it looks weird to me or might be an experimental of the new routine.
