Our application was received on August 31st (or at least that's what tracking on the internet showed), so i know it's not our turn yet necessarily for AOR (from Mississauga office) but i'm also worried that some September applicants already received AORs, and some August's ones nothing yet :-\lunas said:

I am from Montreal and I just recieved the CSQ for my wife this week actually. Here is my timeline: application for the CSQ recieved by Immigration Quebec on September 12th, 2012. CSQ issued on October 10th, 2012 and recieved by me (regular mail) on the 15th of October. There is a separate thread for CSQ in Family Sponsorship where folks like us share their experiences. It can be either. Some people receive an email and others get it in the mail. It's a coin toss.msmart said:

AOR came through email on aug 13 and I checked the website it says decision made and that a letter was sent out on aug 15 but haven't gotten anything yet.

you should call and ask them - they can confirm over the phone that you have been approved, and since it's 2 months since the approval, they can resend the letter for you. Most likely it is a approval of sponsorship and your file has been transferred to your VO, but it would be good to know of course!msmart said:

makes sense then! nothing to do but wait until you get the letter - it should come soon. Sometimes it comes by email ( although ecas always says that a letter has been sent), check the spam folder as well - if it's not there, then it's coming by post, I imagine it will come next week depending where you live (in or out in Canada).msmart said:
