Today my status changed to " IN PROCESS" .We reviewed your application and started processing on 13 th of April.

You have touched a good point. If I were to be a VO, I will definitely look into the category vis a vis IELTS score. And 1122 category requires greater emphasis on communication skills.
On the other hand i am not satisfied that IELTS is a good benchmark to learn abilities of the concerned party. I know lot of learned (PhD in literature, MD's ) who have scored less in IELTS but are no less in everyday interaction.
But your point is Valid in the case of NDVO as INDIA happens to be a place where everything and anything can be "MANAGED"

We are here to discuss issues concerning the applicants and the rules/regulations that govern them and NOT to pass any comments on any country or that country's governance. Everything can happen anywhere. IMHO you or me or anyone here on this forum is not so much learned or wise to make these kind of statements.
It all depends on how you see the glass of water, as half empty or half full. Everything is limited to the scope of vision.

I don't really find it any bad! We all know how things happen in India. For those of you who do not know yet, India remains on the top list of countries that are contributing to immigration fraud to Canada and no wonder ND VO is very cautious about every application.

I completely agree, with immigration fraud reputedly on the rise, that such precautions are needed.

Bottom line is, if you have been completely truthful then you have nothing to fear from verification checks and interviews etc.

it is just a guess (and the reason behind my guess is as follows, may be I am wrong)

I have noticed that ND visa office was quiet last week and until now they have not made any decision except of grasshopper. if u remember in start CIO issued PER to some applicants and told them that their application will be forwarded to their visa offices, but suddenly they did a re-check and asked some of them to provide IELTS General (hope you remember that incident). This is what makes me think of interview.

My another guessis that applicants with low IELTS score may get interview call from ND visa offices. May be I am wrong, but I will appreciate if those applicants who got interview call share their IELTS band (L,R,W,S).

Hi - the only way to second guess an interview is to order CAIPS notes IMO, which may show some indication in the notes as to why the visa officer is requesting an interview.

For the relatively small cost I think ordering CAIPS notes is the way forward, but bare in mind they will take 30 to 45 days to arrive so depends when your interview is scheduled for?

Otherwise you have no idea why they are asking for the interview. Are interviews always conducted in English or French or are they in the native language of the country? If it's in a native language then IMO there would be little point in holding an interview just because of language concerns.

Ok I just replied As I said, I think ordering CAIPS notes might be your best course of action, if you think they will arrive in time prior to the interview.
