i applied to chc isl on 30th may . college is stouffville. few days ago I emailed them about the progress of my application and I wasn't expecting any reply from them so quickly (week time) and also within the 11 weeks processing time. but they replied me today and it was kinda automatic reply but my file number was there.
do they reply in a week time and within 11 weeks processing time?

11 weeks processing time is not a fixed time, some lucky people got their visa within 3 to 4 weeks and in my case i got medical call after 28 weeks( Applied 21 Jan got medical call 04 Aug).
So its all about your luck. Secondly CHC ISl will never answer your email with details until your file is under process, their reply will always be as;

Waisay i wanted to ask something... the program i have applied in is 6 ACCA papers + the Canadian Business Experience Program, through which i will be getting internship placement after each exam session... they say that a work permit will be supplied to allow me to work. Now will i get this permit with my VISA or right before I start my internships after my exam session!??? and are work permits specific to the job or just general?


Also, anyone know if GO transit provides discounts for students!??

Ya I know that. I am not much interested in immigration. My motivation is good monitory benefits after the degree wether they are in Canada or another country. I also plan to do MBA from Canada after this degree. Let's see...

Do you know wether I can apply for PR after the one year degree and one year work?

If it is co-op based studies then you will be receiving your co-op work permit along with SP. You will be provided Letter of Introduction for SP and WP.

Co-op workpermit is different than OCWP.
