Hi ! i have done meds last week but yet no response from neither vfs nor CHC Delhi, the wait is killing me, i have to take some 'decisions' which are awaiting coz of delay, its kinda hard to do without confirmation. i asked to the med centre, they said they have sent the results
share if you are also waiting after med

Same case here. I did meds on 13 July. Now very anxious! As you've said, it's holding up so many other decisions of mine!!! Very tensed now. If you get any update do share!

Me too....i did the medicals on 11th of July.....i also called the hospital to check whether they sent it and they did....now just waiting

This wait is soooo horrible....esp coz i see ppl who have applied after me have received their visa....im happy for them....but still :'(

With the grace of god and good wishes and help of everyone on this forum, my husband and I have today received e-mails from CHC. They have approved my student visa and his work permit. I applied on 9 Jul with medical on 13 Jul. If anyone of you receive any update, do share.

congrats! me too the same case...i have applied study permit for me and open work permit for my husband and temporary visa for my kid.
I have appied on 8th Jul..pre-medical done...can you share your profile..? getting tensed day by day..

Congrats to u both....its good news coz we now know that ppl are still getting their visas even at this time of "strike."..

Thank you everybody! It sure is a big relief to get the visa's as alot of decisions were pending.

Here is my profile

Class 10- 85%
Class 12- 82%
Delhi university-52% (Eco hons)
Work ex- 3 years+
University category-university of newfoundland, st johns
Course- mba
Toefl submitted 114/120

And for my husband

Class 10- 87%
Class 12- 85%
Delhi university-55% (Eco hons)
Mba, imi, new delhi
Work ex- 5 years+
Spouse- Open work permit
Toefl submitted 117/200

Showed sufficient funds in bank account, fd, time deposits etc
Attached sop, cover letter showing ties etc

Applied on 9 july vfs new delhi, passport recvd at chc delhi 10 july, meds req 11 july, meds given 13 july, email recvd today- 29 july!

Hope the wait ends soon for all of you who are yet to recieve responses from chc. It is good that they are still processing visa's as this is the crucial fall entry period.

We have learned alot from this forum and if we can contribute in anyway, we would be glad to pitch in!
