Finally sent my med and the forms yesterday! Miraculously got a reply from a real person saying they'd forward the documents to a VO. Now we wait!

After my wife received blue book in 25th july...today I talked with my lawyer and he said wait for 6 to 12 months more ? i asked him to request for ADR he said you cant request for adr they will call you i really dont know if i trust him or not

Well, my thing is, some ppl get.told in their letter of appeal acknowledgment. To send in more evidence in support of adr. 2 things. In our case, I had hoped for adr. No explanation. My lawyer said they are not great in winning percentage. Most are lost. Maybe before. But for us. Nobody explained ever why we didn't get adr. I complained to the Vancouver IAD. I asked in November 2016. I think they replied in January. They said the reviewing officer determined if we were eligible for adr. And officer determined our case needed a full day. So no adr. As an ADR is meant to be an hour. Our "Full Day" was in the end 2 hours. We won our case in two hours.
But in hindsight. If I sent in more evidence. In may have supported an adr. Because in all actuality. We only needed two hours. Mind you and adr is meant for an hour. I think had we sent in more proof. I would have prayed that it even got looked at. In support of adr. And perhaps not still be sitting here waiting for ppr.
Another thing. There are less ppl working at IAD. There tenure or what have you is finished. But appeals are going longer. Sorry for the wait. They say. Meanwhile they were going to make more adrs. In hope the wait is not as bad. So I think you should go right ahead and send more proof in. What's the harm. Make copies.

Unfortunately you do have to wait for the IAD to phone you, which can take a while, I waited five months until I received a call, you'll also get a letter about a month before they phone you, letting you know when they'll be phoning you. ADR is something they choose upon looking at your file, they decide whether it looks like it could be solved in a more casual way or if it needs a full hearing.

Whether you get an ADR is determined by how long the Immigration agent and the CBSA agent will take to listen to the reasons you were denied if it takes more then an hour to get a result than they give you a full hearing . Unfortunately you or your lawyer cannot request an ADR .

Who's are won appeal on IAD please update here your further case processing as I got written letter from court after one month of winning my appeal and I contact my visa office London they reply my email and they said your file on transit back to office when we began review your case will contact you .
I don't know how long they will take it more .

I have no updates since August 10. Sitting on dm. Thinking they take 5 days to transfer. Now waiting for ppr. I went to my mps office for some assistance. The woman I spoke with said she will call Quebec now is who they call to inquire. So she is calling me back. On ecas says dm. No message. On my cic. It has no message. Nothing about dm.

I suggest go on ecas. Also try & link. Your file should be going to Ottawa for some processing. Update forms, medical & police. After its transfered back to your vo.

After successful ADR , we got a request from Ottawa , to update form kit , new medical check up and police certificates . I have submitted all the requested documents since 2 weeks .

Now , Dose our application will be send back to Singapore visa office ?
what is the timeline after ADR ?

we have no idea what is the next step .

Whether you get an ADR is determined by how long the Immigration agent and the CBSA agent will take to listen to the reasons you were denied if it takes more then an hour to get a result than they give you a full hearing . Unfortunately you or your lawyer cannot request an ADR .

But since its my second appeal will they grant us ADR this time ? in first appeal it went thro full hearing and it took 2 years for us to win it now again wait for 2 years ? Its not fair

You will not get an ADR as you have had a full hearing and was denied. The next step is to contact a lawyer as you will have to go to court to dispute the denial in court as far as I know.

Most of us feel you should perhaps talk with a different lawyer about being refused twice. Go find a second opinion. Contact another lawyer,
Galano he was refused. Appealed and won. Then refused again in a second interview, and appealing again.
Ismaeel, first reason was not genuine. What exactly was second reason again.

I think what happened to ismaael is he applied and got refused, he then appealed and won, it went back for processing and he ended up getting refused for the same reason, which they aren't even allowed to do, so he doesn't have to go to federal court, but I don't think he'll get ADR either.

Exactly. I think it's a matter of a lawyer calling IAD and saying listen, this man refused twice for same reason...two years later is unheard of. Probably against the law. His and wife's rights violated. Ismaeel, does your wife speak good English? Get her on here if you can.

the visa officer said in those blue book notes that i am not satisfied that this is bon fida relationship she also said in those notes that i did not provid the same date as his wife for visits plus she is her cousin and the relationship is not real he just want a way into canada
