Hey folks,

I intend to do my landing in Toronto although I am an AINP immigrant. I am planning on flying into Toronto, spending a few days there, and returning to the US using the AVR rule. From browsing this forum, the address to get the PR card, doesn't neccesarily have to be Alberta? I have friends in Ontario, who can receive the card, and then mail it to me. I was thinking of landing in early April, anyone else in the same shoes?
Thanks

It seems you were under Eb2 of US green card which is going to be current pretty soon and you decided to withdraw the case of Canada. Is there anything you wish to share with other forum members in the name of Jesus.

Once you have done your landing you will not be getting a refund on your right of permanant residenc fees. You could choose to do that before landing.

Anyone else landing in early April and returning using AVR? I also need to update my addres on the CIS site. I am a little worried about using AVR, although I think it is easier than making a visa appointment. Let me know

Hey TylerSam thanks for getting back. Where do you intend to land? Are you an Alberta Nominee as well? We need to go over the requirements of AVR. I am thinking of flying into Toronto, and then flying back over the first weekend of April.
Stay in touch.

TylerSam, I think I am going to schedule a visa appointment at a US consulate in Canada, instead of AVR.

Yes, just a little worried. I haven't ever stamped my H-1s. I have an old expired F-1 from 05. I have a 140 approved and an H-1 extension. Maybe I should just get the stamp! Let me know what you think

hey don't worry...i spoke itself to the immigration and intact got an email answer from them that it is okay to use AVR as long as you do not go outside the u.s more than 30 days and you do not apply visa stamping while outside u.s.a.
also as long as you are going with in canada or mexico..
