I heard that there is a case officer assigned to every case that is appealed and that we are able to contact him or her regarding our appeal. I was also told that this case officer is there to help us. Is this true and if so, where would I find out who he/she is? Thanks.

The wife and I are on an interview list that could go up to 24 months. If during the wait while visiting her, she were to become pregnant with our baby would that make the process much more complicated? Would it speed it up at all? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
