    Ceremony done this morning in Scarborough. 91 people from 29 countries! Happy to be finsished this journey! Just need to apply for the passport now. Good luck to everyone still waiting and thanks to every who helped out along the way. It won't be long until everyone here is Canadian.

    Additional question: Cab I bring my application and my wifes application to the passport office without my wife having to come with me. Work schedules make it easier for me to go and hand the appliactions in.

    You can definitely take them but if they start getting cranky you'll have to leave. I would take them as it's a special day.

    If that's what's listed on you invitation then yes. Also bring your drivers license, health card or Provincial ID card. They will ask to check one of those pieces of ID to verify your ID before the test.

    No. You already gave them that as part of your application. Just bring the items they listed on your test invitation letter.

    I could be wrong here but I don't think online applications are available for passports. You can mail it in but it's definitely much faster to go to the passport office. The usual is around 2 weeks. Don't go to Service Canada either. That adds time to the process.

    My test was pretty easy but my wife's seemed a little harder. It had some more obscure questions that came from the little side boxes in Discover Canada. We both passed. Just make sure you read Discover Canada at least twice and do a bunch of online practice tests and you'll be fine.

    We were originally going to do the same thing as you but we didn't want to risk any issues with processing delays due to submitting an application in a different name.

    She needs to visit Service Ontario first and have her OHIP card and Driver's License changed to her married name so she can use those photo ID.

    I just spoke to Passport Canada on the phone. Her passport can be issued in her married name as long as we have a marriage certificate and she has photo either her drivers license and health card in her married name too. They need the photo ID to match the name you want on the passport. @KRP...

    Not worth the effort in my opinion. They'll need to reschedule you and you could move to the back of the queue. This is the last step! Just suck it up and drive to Sauga man!!

    I signed 2 documents. One was a green page that declared I had no prohibitions. The other was a similar document that was a little longer but basically to was another declaration of no prohibitions. I wouldn't worry.

    They make you declare that you have no prohibitions a number of times during the process. Once at application, once at interview and then again at the oath I think.
