My spouse's photo resubmission received Nov 14th, so I guess we shouldn't expect to hear before another month or so.

    Getting married after PPR

    - You could send in passport, get COPR, then send it back to invalidate COPR after you notify them of marriage like I did (they'll ask for your passport back). - Or you could notify them Dec 10. You don't need to have the marriage certificate on-hand at that time. By the time they reply and ask...

We got a request for new photos for spouse. We ONLY received it via mail, no email or update on mycic. Worst yet the letter was dated November 6. Just a heads up for people regarding photo requests. My application was approved yesterday too (email about an update o mycic only).

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

MyCiC is unfortunately the only way. You could call them up not sure if they're able to update you. Don't be put off by the waiting time sometimes it's cut when people drop off the queue. Typically people see changes approximately 7-10 days before the 61 days mark. I think you should be fine IF...

Called them, they apologized for the mistake and said it's just an internal matter which they'll correct, it doesn't affect my PR card in any way since passport number is not written on it. And just today we received a request for new photos for my wife!

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

So just now my application got updated and it is approved. No update on wife's application though still. Landed 14 September. HOWEVER, under the document status where it mentions the card's number and expiry date, it incorrectly shows my wife's passport number under "Travel document number"...

How to re-enter Canada before PR card?

Thanks! That is very comforting. Hope to hear from others who's done this recently in particular. Everywhere official you read you can only pass with a PR card; airports and land crossing alike.

How to re-enter Canada before PR card?

Hello, So we landed Sep 14 in Toronto, and recently booked a trip to NYC on 17 Nov for 10 days. We booked the flights initially thinking we're good on time; officers told us to expect PR card within 6-8 weeks when we'd landed, and even with the current posted processing time of 61 days we...

    Getting married after PPR

Apologies for the late reply. Either CSE or email should work, probably CSE makes the most sense. Docs: payment receipt; IMM0008ENU_2D (for both); IMM5406E (for both); imm5669E (spouse only); IMM5562E (spouse); spouse passport, birth certificate, medicals, and police; marriage certificate...

    Getting married after PPR

The important thing is to notify CIC of the change promptly. We could all debate what promptly is but I don't think it's what's important. You do not need to attach the marriage certificate in the CSE when you notify them, and it typically takes CIC up to 2 weeks to reply to your enquiry. By...

    Questions about travel history

    1. Follow the instructions. It'd be useful to have it in some order but I doubt they requested that either way. 2. Yes. I was in the same situation. 3. You could do that yeah. 4. Do NOT leave out any travels.
