You are right. The IELTS document has the "ACADEMIC" highlighted by the officer. I took it for my MBA requirements. So I guess they don't take results taken for academic purposes?

Yeah I am just going to send the transcripts from my MBA and return the application. Hopefully that will suffice even though it clearly says they will take IELTS even it is expired. I am going to chalk this one up to quirks of bureaucracy.

I personally would not withdraw BOWP till you get the COPR. That is what I did and I got the money back. I called and asked them to withdraw my application. If they have not opened your application you have a good chance of getting the money back. I hope this helps.

I would not withdraw it. I would only cancel it if you actually got the CoPR. Play it safe. To be honest, $520 is a lot of money but way less of a grief compared to what would happen if things did not work out your way :)

Good news...So I got the CoPR and the Passport back today. I am planning to call tomo and set up an appointment. I am also cancelling my BOWP application and hopefully, they will reimburse the money. Thanks guys.

Guys, Got my PPR and sent the passport to Ottawa. But forgot to put the copy of an PPR email in there. But I did quote the UCI and the application number on the envelope. I should be okay right?

I got my PPR today. I see that it takes about 20 days for the passport to be returned after submission. I am flying to India on July 2nd. If I send the passport tomo (May 14th), is it safe to assume I will get it back before June 1st?

So, big question. I applied online!! Is that a big no no?? I am reading some comments about how the call centre tells people to apply by paper. Is there any one else who applied online here? How does that affect the processing time?
