I think if you use Airport, you might have to fly out...but take a Sky-train with your documents to the Airport, they might be able to guide u if u really do need to fly or they can just take you to the custom officer...as for the border...would be the easiest...go across, come back with a U-turn :)

yes mevakesh, I did put it as arranged marriage as it still went through with parents arranging it all :)

well, for us here's how it happened... found out about her through a common friend in Canada, she gave me her number... and the time line begins ... - first phone call to india end of october - talked over the phone for a month - visited india in december - met her for the first time lets say...

Today is our first Marriage anniversary, and unfortunately we are not together, but there's nothing better than the Passport in Hand with CANADA VISA on it...and I told my wife, given the situation, this is the best Anniversary Gift we could get :)...I know for future she is soon going to get...

hello Lindissa, For Delhi it is kind of different, they requested passport early in march..and Visa granted in April.... in the letter they mentioned, to expedite the process they collecting passports.... :) check out my timeline, hopefully better idea... ps. I am from lower mainland too...
