My husband got PPR. He is on visitor visa in Canada now. Does anyone know if he can use a prepaid envelope (self address to my Canadian adddress) to get his passport back? If so, does he need to update CIC the new address which is the sponsor (myself)'s address. Thanks!!

I think they are asking a actual passport though. They already have the copy of the passport.

How long does it take from Passport Request to Visa stamped? We got the ppr on Feb. 24 and Ecas shows decision made already. But we have not sent the passport yet. We need the passport to travel on March 16. Will it be enough time for us to receive the passport back by then?

What is COPR? CIC is asking us if there will be any chagne (e.g. baby born) before my husbnd becomes PR. If no change, he can send his passport. He has not submitted his passport yet. I may take maternity / prenatal leave for 6 months... Should I tell CIC and ask their advice?

Isn't that a restriction about how many people a PR can sponsor? I thought after I sponsr my husband, I won't be able to sponsor anybody within a few years... isn't that true?

My passport reached LA on Feb 29. Last week I sent them an email and Monday this week a case specific requiry to LA ( I specifically need my passport for something). They replied me hours later, and sent my passport back the next day. Hope this is helpful.
