Fortunately the world doesn't revolve around Manila. There are applicants from other VO that want to know how June applicants are progressing. It makes little difference to me as my visa is about to be issued...but others might want to know.

Maybe that's what they are testing...how strong a relationship you have. Either way it's unethical.

Partly because there is very little competition for the existing airlines and also because of the distance covered flying from one side of such a huge country to the other.

Thanks Fege...did you order email GCMS notes or hard copy? I've heard that if you order a hard copy your notes have to be sent back to Ottawa and this can delay the process...ordering email GCMS notes is faster and won't delay the process.

Welcome! I wouldn't expect to see ECAS go in progress....London VO don't update ECAS that much and you might actually get your visa before it changes to 'in progress'. My application was also sent to London early August and still I have heard nothing. You might want to try this thread...

Sweden am I right in saying that if I am non visa exempt I will have to wait in the UK until my PR card arrives? Or can I go to Canada with my PR visa in my passport and enter tht way?
