I know they are working on the file though, since they asked for some additional documents.

I guess I should join this group too! We sent in our application in June, and my common-law partner got approved as a sponsor, after which my application was sent to London VO in August. Ever since the status has been 'application received, medical exams received'.

Shouldn't it say 'in process' or is that only when they start to look at the papers? Hopefully once my application goes to 'in process' stage, it won't last long! Any experiences on this? My work visa in going to expire in a month and I know I'm going to be bored to death if I can't work, study or do anything for x amount of time

Anyone else heard anything from London VO?

I wouldn't expect to see ECAS go in progress....London VO don't update ECAS that much and you might actually get your visa before it changes to 'in progress'. My application was also sent to London early August and still I have heard nothing.

I received letter from New Delhi requesting for the following and they gave me till 01/27/2013. My eCAS still shows Application Received:

1. Photographs showing you and your sponsor sigining Nikahnama in front of the Kazi : I have 17 pics for this query and I think I am more than enough.

2. Post marriage photographs of outings and post marriage family photographs : I finalized around 75 pics....ARE THEY ENOUGH OR U GUYS THINK I HAVE TO ADD MORE ?

3. Evidence of contact with your sponsor:

Please advise whether your sponsor has left for Canada.If not, mention the date when he intends to leave for Canada : I am Canadian and living with my spouse since marriage.I intend to travel with my spouse after she gets her COPR.They are asking for a date and I dont know the date yet.......PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW IF I NEED TO ADD ANYTHING MORE OR HOW TO ANSWER THIS QUERY....

Highly unlikely... It's just wishful thinking and imagination thinking GCMS will somehow bring out a forgotten case out of the limelight. ;D In practice, they have a sophisticated system tracking all applications and how/who to assign to case etc.

hello pajoin nmn! june8,2012 ko sinubmit papers ng mag ama ko.. nov26 nila sinubmit passports for visa stamping but until now dec22nd wala pa ring balita.. imin canada rytnow and nasa pinas pa cla..

ND Office requested for more documents and couriered today and will be receiving by Dec 24th...So when can I expect to hear from them again after receiving the requested documents...They gave me till Jan 23, 2013 for the documents, so will they open my file before or after this date..
