If anyone has any news of when cic will announce their 2018 quota, please reply.
2015 plan was announced on 6 November 2014
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2014-11-06.asp

2016 plan was announced on 8 March 2016
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2016-03-08.asp

2017 plan was announced on 31 October 2016
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2016-10-31.asp

According to my instinct, we might get the quota on 31 October 2017

I have a dilemma. I got an invite in June with 454 points. Right now since my birthday has passed, if I decline the ITA I would have 448 points.

My question is, is this enough to get another invite should I decline my ITA?

Am asking since my FBI PCC is taking an insanely long time to process - the application reached on July 11th. I checked with them today and they said they have still not even opened applications received on July 11th and therefore cannot confirm receipt of my application. My deadline meanwhile is next week - September 27.

So am thinking, if I have a chance next draw ,should I decline and get another 3 months time, so that I get to submit the FBI PCC?

No need to decline. You can submit your application with LOE explaining that your application reached FBI on July 11 but you are still waiting to receive PCC, and when it arrives you will upload it. Include a copy of the mailing receipt.

However, even if you choose to decline, 448 points is more than enough to get ITA for the next rounds for the foreseeable future, given that today's was 433 and is expected to decline over the upcoming months if not years.

I think the 14-days draws are pretty much established for the rest of the year, with one or two rare back-to-back draws.
Yes, looks like that. I am expecting a 7-day gap draw on Nov 8th though.

No offense but I was talking about the CRS for forum members... I am very well aware of the CIC website and its statistics......
I agree that would be nice to have. Maybe you can create a tracker in myimmitracker and we all can input our information there.

I'm a US citizen, and embarrassed about that since we got our new president. :( I decided on election night this past November that I needed to emigrate from here. I initially wanted to go to the UK but decided on Canada late in March.
