Guys, I'm about to submit e-APR. Still have few confusions:

1. I got my bank statement from Standard Chartered Bank but the stamp/seal put in each page is in black ink. So when I scaned it, it doesn't look like a original statement as all contents are in black and white (even bank logo is in black & white). Is it okay to upload? However, the certificate of bank balance I got is in color letter head and the manager's seal is also in read ink.
2. Is it necessary to upload wife's passport pages with travel stamps & visas or only bio page is enough? My wife lost her old passport where there was one travel record.

Please advise. @Wandering Mind @BillHyatt
Sorry just saw your message.

1. It's not a problem.
2. What does your document checklist say? Bio page or all pages? Upload only what's being asked for.

No need for old passport since CIC only asks for valid and current passport.

Good luck.

Scan pages of stamps, visas & markings on your current valid passport only, the one you are planning on travelling with. You don't need to scan old passports, even though they might have markings or visas from previous trips that you have included in your e-APR travel history.

However, you might need the old passport to validate your dates of travel...
I don't know anyone who was asked by CIC to show old passports for validation of travel dates.

Hi All,

I've submitted my application on 9th Sep. Have a couple of questions. I have submitted mine and my wife's provident fund passbook statement as part of proof of funds. Now these are legible copies with our names, our workplace etc is mentioned however I didn't get these stamped or signed by anyone. Will it lead to disqualification? On the other hand submitted a stamped and signed copy of my Savings account statement

Dear group,
Hi,

Please accept my apology if I am asking my awkward questions. My application was rejected in July because of incompleteness (police certificate was not after my last visit to Sweden which I studied there) and that is way I am over-concerned now. I really appreciate your help.

My main concern is about validity of provincial nominee letter and medical exam. my medical exam is valid until March 2018 and I am sending my application in September or early October. As you know PNP application takes about 5-6 month which it is likely my medical exam will expires before CIC evaluates it. Do I need to do new medical exam before sending my PR application?

Also my provincial nominee letter will expire during processing of my application. Is it similar to the language test which it should be valid the time they submit their application?

I am really concerned about these two facts and need your guide.

Thank you again

sorry to hear that. but on the bright side it's a mistake that you can rectify.

with that out of the way, your first thing to do now - even before applying - is to contact your nominating province and explain to them that you've been rejected and ask for an extension for your nomination which they will surely do, they might need the new EE profile number, the jobbank code (whether new one if you make it, or the same old one if you linked it to the new EE profile) and your nomination certificate number. once that is done you can apply again in any ITA that falls within the renewed nomination validity.

as for the medicals, just apply with what you have and needn't worry much about it, if they too that long, they will either extend it with no cost for you to bear or they'll ask for a re-run of the medicals.

I sincerely hope the best for you & yours

Dear Maged_mmh,
Thanks for inclusive reply. I also wish the best for you and all applicants of Canadian PR. I have already given my new EE profile information to Ontario province and they transferred my points to new EE profile but since my nominee letter still is valid they did not extend it (it is valid until end of October). For medical test I follow your instruction.

Regards

the letter doesn't matter, what matters is they extend it on their system which is accessed by IRCC, not us, since your certificate is still valid just be sure to accept the coming ITA right away and I assume you're prepared with fresh Swedish PCC by now, the rest of the checklist would be ideally the same apart from that single one.

if you procrastinate until the nomination certificate lapses, then you'd have a problem convincing OINP why didn't you apply while it was still valid, if you can justify that reasonably, go for it, if not don't take chances.

BTW, the nomination certificate is only useful to get you an ITA, once you receive the AOR, it doesn't matter if it expires, I'm OINP too and been waiting for 9 months post AOR, my certificate expired long ago and my application still showing nominated

I have my new Swedish PCC and I will apply in the coming ITA.

Thank you again

Need Experts urgent advise regarding PCC requested for less than 6 months stay -

Today CIC sent me an email asking for Singapore PCC although I stayed there for 5 months only. :( When I tried to submit the PCC request (COC) online on Singapore SPF website, it declined the request saying the duration of stay should be more than 6 months in order to apply.

Should I upload a LOE in myCIC explaning the situation (including passport stamps showing travel dates and above decline message) ?

But I am afraid, what if the officer rejects my application. What could be the reason the officer is asking for a PCC, he can see my travel dates is within 6 months. :(

Please advise !

It is the officers discretion to request a PCC even if the applicant spent less than 6 months at a certain country.

So either figure out how to obtain the PCC or write a LOE stating why you're unable to get it.

The only way the Singapore SPF system will allow to apply for PCC is by putting a false date to show more than 6 months. But that will be improper to do. So, I will better submit a LOE to CIC

They sometimes do ask PCC if the stay is close to 6 months, say 5 months. Its purely upon discretion types.

Call and tell them about the request decline and ask what needs to be done next. You cannot argue based on the fact that you stayed only for 5 months and you are not required to get PCC.
