It's like getting a driver's license. They take your passport, print out a COPR, ask you 3 simple questions (have you been convicted of a crime in Canada or anywhere, dependents in Canada or anywhere that are not included, and have you ever been denied entry to Canada or anywhere; are the most common). Then you double check the details on the COPR are correct. You and the officer sign. Then you take your selfies and head out to party
What about documents they ask the sponsor to take along?
Pay stub, job letter etc?

If you're not working then don't worry about it. I think that's for your sponsor though. Pay stubs are just to prove that she isn't collecting social assistance currently (London is the only office to do this in this area -- Kitchener didn't even care who I was...)

Dead serious. I had to beg them to check my ID. No marriage certificate for us, no pay stubs, no nothing.

They only wanted a receipt of payment of RPRF, and her passport.

I have a full time job right now.
But you were out of status. That means that you have reached AIP if they issued the OWP. Do you have the AIP letter? If you do, that actually works better.

Otherwise, you have to get your employer to write you a letter to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care in support of your OHIP. They have to state when you started working for them, that they intend to keep you employed for at least the next 6 months, and your job title and general list of duties.
