congrats! did you received any AIP or SA before you got the landing interview letter? Im Sept application too but received nothing since the medical request on Jun 2017

I think my husband's background is not complicate, he became citizen before he reached age 18 and only did a few times traveled outside Canada. The most recent note they added on GCMS is on Aug 9 2017 which is under "ASSOCIATION - GROUP " and the status on that is "CLOSED"

Its still showing "in process" and applicant's side is "application received"

But I still not receive any AIP or SA...

I have no idea what does that mean, but this happened on Sep 7 2017 and my application was received by CIC on Sep 13 2016

It seems like they slow down to working on the applications who submitted on AUG/JUL/SEP. they started my background check almost 1 year after theyve received my application.

just called CIC again and they said they just started to do my BC from Sep 7....so sad

I just has concern that the BG Check for the applicants who came from Asian countries will take longer time? Im sep 2016 applicant and still in BG check and receive nothing

MYCIC also has problem today. application status keep loading forever..

I think my BG check was started since nov 2016 after I got the Aor. Forever showing BG check in progress on MyCIC

No, they didn't mention other things. Just asked me to be patient

I just called CIC to ask about my application which has received by Sept 13 2016. They said my application still in background stage. Do any one knows usually how long the BG check will take?
