I got an aor saying my application has been transferred to vienna.
Then in march i believe i sent them an email asking about an update on my application and if they have sent any msg just incase i have missed it.
I got a reply back saying my application is under review thats about it.
yes it was a long wait! i have said this many times but i highly reccomend ordering gcms notes. it will tell you what the officer wrote about your case or if they have even opened it in vienna in the first place! i found out in my notes that we are in interview queue and why we needed an interview. i wrote vienna a long email after waiting 5 months since the officer wrote the note, which was a huge regret to wait so long because after 2 days they emailed me back with an intrview date (maybe if i emailed before i wouldnt have waited so long). in the email i wrote how ridiculous it is to wait 5 months for just an interview. when they sent me the email with the interview date they gave me 2 and a half weeks time to actually prepare for it. gcms notes take 30 days to get and if i hadnt got them from before we would have never knew why we were getting interviewed in the first place. not only that but my husbands interview was in a different country and he needed an interpreter that alone was hard to find. having the gcms notes we knew exactly why they wanted the interview and we prepared from before by printing pictures, keeping all conversations instead of deleting them and kept our receipts. gcms notes are only $5.. maybe u dont even need an interview and its just in a queue for passport request!

For us they keep saying they are doing security screen and the check is conducted for IRCC by outside agencies and any delays that may incur in providing input to IRCC is STH over which they have no control! And gcnote does not show anything in front of the security sections as they are all whited out with correction pen. What do you suggest we can do? check our Ankara Excel sheet we are all waiting for a year now and no news. Is anyone left in Vienna VO from 2016? I noticed you just applied on march. your file should be just transferred to the VO.
Still waiting July applicant Vienna asked some additional documents did provide it now I'm waiting again........

Hi all.
I'm June applicant is just got ano email on Friday for additional documents and asking me to pay the right of permanent residency fee. So it looks like I'm getting near the end finally. It was a long wait to get here. I will update you guys whatever comes next. Good luck to everybody!
yeah....that is very sad that you all have such a long wait without any news. I really hope guys you will hear positive news from CIC real soon! Hold on!

Why don't you make an excel sheet? You may share it on onedrive and add the link to your signature in the profile. So that we can see how many are left from Vienna. The may/june/july threads are not very active anymore.
since you applied in November then you used old forms....
Such a long wait is really hard to tolerate....is the VO soooooooo backlogged or what..
