I have being following this thread as our application will end up in Vienna sometime soon. Seems like this VO is very very slow...

waiting 8 month ...oh...so long. But did you order GCMS notes?

No I didn't at all Vienna is really quite

We should contact Canadian Gonverment since maybe they did close Vienna embassy!

I did sent last week two emails to the embassy asking them for status of my application and didnt got response yet

i sent one april 10th and yesterday.. they just replied to the april 10th one today..

Hello. I am not very familiar with the whole process yet (soon will be going through Vienna - one of the slowest VOs)....but isn't contacting your MP is an ultimate step, namely when the processing time takes more than 12 month...? Or you can involve MP at any stage?

when i visited my mp it was only 8 months in the process and they told me its early and to just wait

Yeah that is what I thought....Seems like Vienna is one of the very slow VOs. I am curious is that because this VO is taking care about many countries...and simply is overloaded.

i feel like the eastern european countries with vienna visa office take the longest.. the other countries not so long

I am from west Europe still waiting, so I'd don't think that's the problem.

I really hope that they are going to speed up...However, I prepared for all 12 month (or whatever it will take)...

How long is a transfer after SA to Vienna? And will there actually be any line in SA saying that they are transferring file to this VO?
