Just want to share an update regarding the recent status of my daughter:

January 24, 2023 - submitted PGWP application
May 4, 2023 - received PGWP refusal
May 11, 2023 - submitted request for reconsideration thru webform
May 22, 2023 -submitted application for restoration of status
June 26, 2023 - left Canada
July 6, 2023 - received refusal of restoration of status on the basis that she already left the country
July 24, 2023 - received approval of PGWP

By the grace of God, everything went well. Just wait patiently for God’s perfect time. Thank you also for the members of this forum who shared their insights and experiences on whatever topics being discussed

In regards to reconsideration, did you resubmit the whole application again and paid another fee or did you use a specific webform? And if you used a specific webform, can i get the link to this?

We just submitted again her Letter of Explanation previously attached to her original application thru the webform. We did not pay another fee anymore.

We just found the link of the webform from their official website.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,
My post graduate work permit got refused on Jan 30th claiming I am not full time student during my study. I have already attached official letter from my school in my first application; I have 2 part-times and 1 short gap semester. The reasons for the part-time study were caused by school strike and my father's serious illness & death. The gap was caused by school too ( academic blocked). It was stated in the official letter in my first application. However they seem not satisfied; so I applied for reconsideration. The following is my timeline and I really need someone to give some advice in what I should do.
Feb 13th - reconsideration submitted with original official letter and more evidence attached.
Feb 13th - Received automatic reply from IRCC of receipt of my inquiry
Feb 19th - Received reply from IRCC of document added to the file for officer view
March 5th - Document sent to the responsible office
No reply since then.

I have seen so many cases of consideration approved here while they got response within 1 month.
I am so worried now and stressful basically everyday. I have a job offer that needs me to start on April 1st and I really do not wanna miss that opportunity.
Is there anyone can help or suggest me what I should do to accelerate the process? Really appreciate

Hi does anyone know my chance of being refused... I am so stressful and it's been 34 days since I raised the webform for reconsideration.

March 5th the agent told me they've forwarded my files to the responsible office and not guarantee the results; yet I have not heard from them since then.

My application was refused on Jan 30th and I applied for reconsideration on Feb 13th.

My HR keeps asking me for the updates and told me I m not on board if I cannot provide verified immigration document.
My start date is April 1st and now I am hopeless like never...
Unfortunately there is not much you can do. There is no way to expedite. You filed reconsideration through a webform and there are no timelines for an informal process. Given your timelines, it is not clear if your file has even been reopened for review…just your reconsideration request was added. Assume you stopped working on January 30.

Honestly I cannot tell you. That is only 9 business days away and there is Easter holiday. There is no mention that file is reopened. You have paid an agent so they should be advising you.

we lost our status in the first refusal. we cannot work until the work permit is approved. The second application won't allow working during the process. Unlike the first one

U can't be serious there's no such option as working with trv. My company can't even go through my sin number like this
This person is talking about applying for a TRP and not a TRV. Two different things. Downside is that TRPs generally take an extremely long time to process and the outcome is of course unknown.

That's good news! I can't comment on the $100.
