Still no update, has been full 3 weeks since the BG in progress update

My application changed to “your application is in progress on June 23rd”
Also that’s the day I got a request for Right of Permanent Resident fee and paid same day.

When do you think it’s likely to change back?

For most people it takes around 40-50 days to change status back to we are processing and once it changes you should get the portal email.

My status changed to “In Progress” on July 5th and today(July 19) i had another GU. But my BG is still “In Progress” and didn’t changed back to “Processing”. Should I necessarily change back to “processing” before i get portal email or there is a chance that I receive my portal mail although my BG is still “In Progress”?

I don't know that one brother. when I was asked ircc agent on call they told me that vo office Ottawa only. Maybe tomorrow I will call them again to get to know about my GU and confirm my VO office.

HI guys,

Has anyone who got Ecopr receive the PR card already? If yes, pls share your Ecopr issuing office (Etobicoke, VLU, OR anywhere else), since the Card printing is same to be processed and mailed by CPC Sydney NS.

I find that card processing is too slow for those who got ecopr from Eto, but VLU office arranged the card processing(sending PHOTO to CPC SYDNEY) is so fast, those who got copr from this office already received the pr card after 2 weeks.

Hi There,

Same thing happened to me! My AOR is March 18 CEC in land! I got an update today and after the update my background check changed back to: our application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check. Then I called IRCC and they told me they are working on your file! They previously told me that criminality has been passed but when I asked she said they will update it soon! She also mentioned that the security is not started yet! Very confusing!
