Work permit with study permit

Hi All,

If you are currently holding a closed work permit, and would like to take a short term course like caregiver course. Would it be possible to apply for a study permit?

To qualify to apply for a study permit, your course must be full time and more than six months in length. Getting an approved study permit will cancel your existing work permit.

hi scylla, i dont know if i asked: can a SP apply for closed WP. I am getting mixed answers everywhere.

my question was:
1. can a person apply for SP , if he she has lmia-wp in process (from outside).
2. can a person apply for lmia-wp (outside), if he she has SP also in process or maybe have a sp status.
3. Can a person apply for sp if there are any immigration programs in process
4. Can a person apply for immigration programs , if the sp is in process or maybe they have the sp status?
Please, just a thought to clear doubts.
