I have never felt this tense before.. It is very hard to wait. Im applying in toronto ontario canada as caregiver. Regarding your lmia as i know it is ok even your lmia is already expired this november as long as before the expiration date you already send your application for work permit to the visa office. Hoping for positive updates this coming weeks.. Please keep in touch.. Thank you..

Hi All,
Here is my timeline:
▪ LMIA approved in October 2018
▪ Work Permit application submitted on 30th October 2018 through a Canadian Law Firm under GTS stream.
▪ Medicals and pcc also submitted at the same time with work permit

We were told that under GTS stream the processing time is 2 weeks.
It's been 5 weeks now and there is no update.

Our lawyer sent an inquiry and CIC said that the inquiry has been sent to the relevant department. But there is no update since then.

I am an Indian National, living in Australia on PR.
The lawyer says that if mistakenly, the application was touted to Sydney, then it might follow the Australia timeline.

My application process took 10 weeks
Application logged on aug 23
Got approved November 26
I send my passport yesterday for stamping

Sydney office got lot of applications
Will be delay but better then other country
You will get soon
Your almost there

I was hired by a company who used lawyers to handle my case. The LMIA was created within a week and approved in 3 weeks (about 11 business days). After they just prepared me a package and could get my work permit while entering the country. So my whole process took less than 2 months.

2. Did you enter without a Work Permit visa stamped on your passport?

Thanks olmo! I guess the difference here is our nationality and the category of application (GTS in my case) - I will require the approved visa before entering Canada. 37 days and counting

Hi applied since 8th of August 2018from USA, till now no update on my WP application.NB.(my employers gave me the full documentation work package and LIMA exempt) I sent an email to CIC in and got a response from UK(CIC) saying it's under active review. I 've never been this anxious in my life. I hope this long wait all turns out successful.

So far wala pa sabi ng physician 3 days bago nila transmit ung medical if ok ang lahat at walang problema
