Hi All,

My Company will transfer my contract ( ACCOUNTING MANAGER ) from Egypt to Canada and willing to help me in the immigration process and work permit.

is it possible to issue the work permit and then begin the immigration process in Canada , or shall I begin the immigration process from Egypt and wait till accept the file.

Thanks.

Why don't you take the work permit first and see if you actually like it here?

Thanks mrFoce.

But i am afraid that i cant do the immigration while i am in Canada ? what the possibility to refuse a immigration file for someone have a work permit and work for 1 full year ? especially that i will take my whole family with me ( wife and two kids ).

Your chances of refusal are the same from inside Canada as they are from outside Canada.

I agree - worry first about the work permit. Once you have an approved work permit, then you can start worrying about immigrating.

Thansk scylla. i got it .

will it be a temp work permit or open work permit ? and for how long wll it be valid ? and when can i begin the immigration process ?

It will be a closed temporary work permit that will only allow you to work for that specific employer. No one here can tell you how long it will be valid for.

You can start applying once you meet the criteria for one of these immigration programs:

If you are interested in applying through the Federal Skilled Worker program using your work permit, then you'll have to see if your work permit meets the criteria:
