WORK PERMIT APPLICATION - UAE APPLICANT

I received on 18/10/2012 a mail from CIC requesting for original police certif and to carry medical examination
I sent all the docs on 31/10/2012,
I did not receive any email for my status, like pending background or in process
I think, from I noticed from the forum, that requesting PC is the last step before issuing the TWP,
So everyone who got to this phase, be positive and hope for the best

Hi MDoha,

From what I read and know, the medical requests will add another 3 - 4 weeks, so while it is not nice to have another delay, yet this is apparently the normal procedures, so no need to worry if it goes further based on this info.

I need to confirm the steps with you its ok?
As i got from your previous posts,
1-Recieved email from embassy requesting PC on 15/October
2-You went to clarified that was already included in the application
3-They reply to email enquiry -saying back ground check on ..........
4-They reply to email enquiry -saying will contact you shortly on 30/October
Wright or i miss some thing.

Regarding the request of the police certificate, just to share, I was asked to send them to the embassy on 17.10.2012, which was a mistake as I have submitted them with the full application on 03.09.2012. iwent there and explained, they confrmed it was a mistake. Anyhow, since then, I am waiting.

I guess in another case, anne1204 was requested to submit her police report and the passport in the same letter, and she got the visa.

Hi ARABKURLI, no problem at all, here it is with details:

03.09.2012: Application received by Embassy.
17.10.2012: Received letter from embassy requesting Police Certificates, which i have submitted from the beginning in ARAMEX parcel.
18.10.2012: Went to embassy to clarify the issue, after a while, the officer confirmed they have it and was misplaced.
21.10.2012: Received a phone call from embassy confirming my papers are in place and that my application is under "background Check".
30.10.2012: Email from embassy "application under process, we will contact you shortly".

Hi i just send my IELTS result it was deliver yesterday to CIC Abu Dhabi
do any one have any idea how long they take to ask for the original passport

On their site it is mentioned that medical request would add 3-4 weeks to the normal processing time; I hope someone who had your same experience can share more . . .

Dear all,
i am from pakistan but currently working on UAE. i recently got canada work permit and i am flying on 30th of Nov.
i will be flying from UAE.

i remember to have some kind of protection from pakistan while coming to UAE.
do i need to get one for canada. i think i might need it if i am flying from pakistan and because i am flying from dubai so do not need it.
can any please confirm ?
is there any other such requirment from dubai ?

punta po muna kayo sa philippine consulate hingi po kayo ng form para sa NBI and dalin nyo po ito sa police station malapit sa al mula plaza dun po kayo mag pafinger prints pag nakuha nyo na po yung form with finger prints ipadala nyo na po sa pinas para makakuha dun ng NBI

i am august 28 applicant also, but no response until now, but one of the applicants here follow up and she is september appicant, the embassy repplied to her that her application is on process already. i dont have application number also. all we can do is to wait... what is your position?

thanks anne for the reply. btw, im a nurse in profession. as of this moment i'm waiting for the proper timing to tell my manager that i'll be absent one of this days to process my NBI clearance.its difficult to tell them the true reason.anyway,i need it asap.God bless

Finally got the passport request from CIC abu dhabi

Hi,
I need one quick help. I am nominated under FSW Backlog reduction pilot program, and have recieved a recommendation letter from Opportunities Ontario for a two years open work permit. When applying for open work permit application in Abu Dhabi, do i need to submit :-

1) a seperate TRV app form for myself and my wife
2) Schedule 1 of TRV form
3) police certificates
4) original passports (processing time is too long and it could be an issue for me)
