i think you need to apply for US visa and get it before travel, only permenant residents can go to US without getting visa before.

Alberta also near US but the north west side of US but toronto is near buffalo and you can reach newyork easily by car.

I went before to Niagra and Toronto from US by car from Washingto DC , it was 1000 + miles distance.

@ Rajaryan

still no response friend :(

I have requested my lawyer to get some update on my application status. I am not sure whether she would send an inquiry to the Embassy now or ask me to wait for 6 weeks to get over.
Waiting for her response.

yeah good move ... let's see what she will tell.

Yeah!! thanks.. Will update you as I get any information from her.

i will be waiting for your update.

Thanks friend :)

Anywayzzz we r already too tiered for getting visa to Canada .. Leave it USA , if we got this it will be more than enough for us lol :))) we will see tht if we arrive there ;)

yeah .. lets succeed to go there first then think about our program :)

@ Rajaryan

Any update from your lawyer???

yeah. just received her mail.
As expected she said, as per Embassy rules within 6 weeks processing time they cant contact the Embassy to check my details. My 6 weeks are getting over on 20th Nov. So she will get an update on that day for me.
Cant do anything till then :(
wait wait and only wait.

really as expected :(

@ran
Yeah. lets 1st reach Canada, then we can sit together and plan our visit to US.
Anyways visitor visa for US is processed in 2 weeks. So getting that will not be a problem from Canada.

@ Rajaryan

you still have 3 weeks of wait to complete your 6 weeks but i really don't like waiting after the processing time.

it is really painful.

I am trying to think about anything other than this issue but i am failing.

yeah waiting after the processing time is the most hardest part. Things are unsure and nothing is certain.
Lets wait for a week and then inquire again.
