Hi Guys, I submitted my TWP Application on 20 October 2012. I hope there will be no delay in this.

Did you submit the application in Riyadh Embassy??
Current processing time is now 8 weeks.

Yes, I submitted to Canadian Embassy in Riyadh. I'm hoping and praying to get the result before end of November 2012. Are there any instances that TWP applications are sent earlier than standard timeline?

I don't think that there is such instance where the response came ealier than the standard processing time.

what is your NOC code?

My NOC Code is 2172. When I submitted my application, I got a mail from the visa officer to submit missing documents, which are the Family Information forms, by 4 Nov 2012 otherwise she fill finalize my application. This made me think that the visa officer will give the results earlier or am I just making wrong assumptions?

Good that they sent this mail

usually they return the application to complete the missing documents / forms.

This is not an indication of early response .. they are scanning the application package first in order to early reject or inquire missing documents before start processing.

How did you miss the family informtion form? it is one of the check list items

Did you send the missing information?

@bugoydpogi74

I hope you had send the information request by the Embassy b4 4th Nov
The Embassy meant that if the requested documents are not send then they would reject ur application and send back ur documents to you.
Its good that they send you a mail for the missing documents.

Yeah it is good Rajaryan and also it is strang as i did not know that they send such notifications.

My lawyer thought that the Family Information forms are not required anymore based on the checklist from the Canadian Embassy Riyadh. Counting the number of weeks since I submitted my application, 6 weeks will be by 30 November 2012.

Thanks for your feedback Rararjan and Ishmail. I did send immediately scanned copy with signatures the Family Information requested.

You asked earlier what my NOC Code is. Does the NOC code affect the timeline for the result or do they give priority to skilled categories?

To my knowledge it does not affect the processing time.

I am also skilled category and my application is still under processing for more than 7 weeks.

Hi guys,

I lodge my application last October 17 via ARAMEX and received an SMS message on the 20th of the same month.

I guess we are all a part of a waiting game in which CIC-Riyadh is in control.

Anyway, I will also share any update if there are changes in my timeline.

Let's just hope for the best for all of us. :)

Hi JB, thank you for sharing your timeline with us. Did you have any issue similar to mine with the documents you submitted? Where is your destination in Canada and if you don't mind advising your NOC Code. I am going to Brampton, Ontario and my NOC code is 2172.

Great , Finally we had colleagues here in Riyadh.

Let's keep updating our status and share experiences.

Good Luck everybody.
