yes Ismail got is visa. He is in Egypt now.. with his family .Very soon he will be traveling to Canada.

Be patient my friend. If you take into consideration you were away with your passport for 10 days and also the christmas holidays you will feel better. I expect that you will get it in a week or two maximum.

AA. Brothers I did not send my original passport with my application, since they did not insist on that. Do you have to send the original passport to complete the approval procedure? I mean once my application gets approved, would they ask for original passport?

Passport is necessary with the application but I also not send my passport with my application. but before i applied i asked the embassy through email they told me that you submit your application without passport but give us written what are the reasons. So i did the same. and they accept my application.

In my case when they returned my application and asked for additional documents, yet they did not ask for original passport. But I was asking that do they put some kind of stamp, or visa on the passport or not.

Hi Hasho,

Due to extra holidays in Canada and CIC-Riyadh, I can't give any updated information here in the forum.

All I can do is wait when the embassy decide to finalize my application.
