Congrats! That's great to hear. Your husband applied for sowp? I also applied sowp last dec 26, 2013 online, I hope I would also receive mine soon.

Hi Guys,

New here, still no update....submitted via online (Canada Embassy in Abu Dhabi.) - 22 Sept 2013, last update by CIC was 30 November 2013.

Whole family applied, wife for the work permit (food safety/service supervisor), me for TRV, two kids for student visa. 7 months has passed, still no request for police clearance/NBI.

I have a friend. and he's working in Abu Dhabi right now. he already have an approved visa in Canada stamped on his passport. But he plans to go on vacation this month to Phils.

Do you think is there a possibility that he will be in question about his new visa?

Just want to ask if how many days did you wait for your passport to get stamp? Last may 29 i brought my passport to the canada embassy in abudhabi for the PPR.the VO told me that the processing days is around 5-7 days.yesterday its been a week now.and im so nervous cause i did not sign for renewal in my present job because because they already asked me a PPR.hope you will answer me.thanks and godbless

I recieved an email from immigration section in canada requesting my original passport.. Is that means that means that they approved my application for SOWP in Canada? And I was brought my passport at Visa application centre in Abudhabi last June 5, 2014, i just want to know if how long it will takes to get my passport back and what is the next step for my application?
