hi there,

I'm new to this forum, hopefully you can help me with the information I needed. Currently, I am waiting for the LMO from my employer. She said she might received it this week. I'm too excited and happy so as nervous because I am afraid I will miss some info in my document or maybe I commit mistake in my application. I just needed some guidance to those already applied or received their working visa..please help me..

@ bebang,

When you are about to submit your application @ Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi. VFS Global will assist and check your documents such as LMO, employment contract, Work permit application form with downloaded checklist. If there is a wrong or mistaken declaration on your application form. They will guide you....

So nothing to worry about.

Have you submitted your docs in person or just send it by Aramex? Is it ok just to send the Passport copy and not the original? And what are the docs that is required to be original?

I submitted my docs in person. Only Police Clearance certificate and NBI Clearance should be original. And the rest photocopies only. Your original passport will only require by the embassy once your work permit application is ok.

hi jenog........y u dint for online application instead of paper app.... i did applied on december 24,2013....via online...medical was included with the application..... i got MYCIC update : on feb 14,2014...medical is passed......I still waiting for furthur update.......

It means that your work permit application had a greater chance. Don't worry your visa will come to you soon.... Be patience bro. keep on praying.

Hi guys, I had also submitted my application online last dec 26, 2013 but still no update so far. I tried to submit additional docs last March 3 and no update either. The silence is really making me nervous, but Im still patiently and faithfully waiting.

My visa here in Dubai is under a Property Broker company. It has a sister company which is trading doing business in the same office. I was hired as a Receptionist at first then Sales Staff and promoted as Commercial Manager. I worked full time for the Trading but still I function as a staff for the Property Broker whenever needed. My confusion is whether to have the Employment Certificate and Reference Letter from the Property Broker which I served less or from the trading company which I function much. I'm afraid it may lead confusion..

Hi bebang,

Your work experiences in your CV is a strong factor to determine if your eligible to the position you are applying for. First, you need to provide an employment certificate ( from your past to present employer ). Because the Visa Officer are strict when it comes to qualifications.

LMO and Job contract from employer doesn't guarantee 100% visa approval. The only way to convince the Visa Officer is to follow things above.
