Work part time while on applied status of study permit ?

Hello I am so scared I applied for my study permit extension on 6 July 2019 and my study permit is expiring today that is 31 July 2019 and i still have not received any updates form the cic so can i work part time after 31 July 2019 as I'm on applied status after today ? Please help

Assuming you mean Implied Status, yes, you can continue to work, as per the conditions of your original study permit.

What about my sin number i heard that i will have to get a new sin to start working again after i get a reply from cic

You will not get a new SIN. You will just extend your current one once your extension is approved.
