I landed in Canada in May on a visitor visa ( reason to be with my brother who lost his entire family in the plane clash), on the same month I applied for a work permit. On October I went back home to for the burial 'cause it took 6 months for the remain identification, however, upon arrival on 22 Nov my passport was seized by the Immigration at the airport. I was given two options;
1.To seek asylum ( he asked for my phone and he determine through family conservation that I could need protection)
2. No entry to Canada, meaning I could have being deported
I didn't have a choice than to seek asylum, even though it wasn't my intention because my brother wasn't doing so well and he needed me here.in doing so my biometrics and photo was taken, also I was given asylum documents to fill and submit them in APRIL 2020. Few days ago I was offered a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP) and a work permit.
Question : Since I have the status to be in the country through TRP and the work permit I'm thinking of withdrawing the asylum to get my passport but I'm wondering whether I will be ordered to leave Canada ??

At this point I think your best option would be to get a consult with a good immigration lawyer.

When you withdraw your refugee application, this will trigger a departure order which will turn into a deportation order if you don't leave Canada within 30 days.

Even with Temporary Residence Permit and Work Permit ??

Is there a reason you were offered a TRP if you applied for a work permit and you entered as a visitor assume on a TRV.

Yes, there are a reason why I was offered a TRP. As stated my brother lost his entire family on the ET302 plane clash and has not recovered.

What’s the process of asylum withdrawal and how long does it take ?? Should I call them and inquiry on consequences of me withdrawing??

But you entered on a TRV so why would you need a TRP? You need to speak with a lawyer. Applying for asylum has longterm consequences that you need to try and undo if possible.
