Will I Ever Get a Response From CiC !!!

Hello Seniors ,

Not even sure what is the issue with my file.
Application reached CIC on Nov 28 2013 and AOR on Jan 15 2014. THAT'S IT NO REQUESTS/QUIRES TILL NOW.
Ordered First GCMS in May 2014 and noticed that the VO has some concerns with my Reference letter.Not all the job duties matched the Selected NOC and referred to Second Review
Second GCMS in October , No Change.Third GCMS in March , No Chnage ,due date set as Jan 10 2015 but nothing heard till now
Contacted through MP , and they replied saying Background Check is going on not sure when it will be completed

So is there any one form late 2013 year and early 2014 waiting for any kind of response.!!!!!

I know a good friend of mine who applied back in Oct 2013, and still got stucked in background check. The application was recommended to be passed, but went on second reviews for too long. When it exceeeded standard processing time, that person also tried to contact through the MP few times as politely & proper as possible, but the MP has not been helpful at all. Now the application is going through Background Check, and not much can be done during this stage. Hopefully everything goes well for everybody here...

For my case, it took CIC almost year and half to complete their background check..

With all this ISIS issues around the world background checks are more stringent I assume.

Hello ,
I am still waiting for a response from CIC. couple of weeks back i called CIC and they informed me that i should hear form CIC by Sep 1st .
Now my immigration consultant is saying we will make a action file. does any one what does that mean ?

Not sure exactly, but may be the consultant needs more money.
