Will ESTA be denied because of previous Flagpolling ?

Hello!

I did flagpole in 2022 to get my Skilled Worked visa in Quebec


I am attending a wedding in the USA in 3 months and was wondering if my ESTA will get rejected because I did flagpolling ? Finding confusing infos about it, some people say the refusal doesn't count, others said an administrative refusal is still a refusal and must be disclosed in the ESTA which triggers a very likely refusal.

So which is it ? Should I disclose it and risk being denied ? Or say nothing and risk a life-long ban for misrepresentation ? It's confusing haha.

Every info I found about people discussing this has been on canadien forum. I feel flagpoling isn't discussed as much if at all on immigration forums haha

Flagpoling by itself doesn't automatically mean your ESTA will be denied. The important thing is to answer the ESTA questions honestly based on what actually happened. If your interaction at the border was only administrative and you weren't formally refused admission, it may not count as a refusal. If you're unsure, it's worth checking your record rather than guessing.
