Hello.
I’m currently living in Serbia. I applied for a visitor visa in 2024, which was approved, and I’ve visited Canada twice since then.
Before that, I had visa refusals from the UK, Belgium, and Spain. I have the UK refusal letter, but a representative handled my Belgium/Spain applications at the time, and I no longer have those letters.
For my 2024 Canadian application, a family friend who lives in Canada collected my documents and completed/submitted the application for me. I never saw or reviewed the form before submission. The previous-refusal question was answered “No.”
On September 21, 2026, while reviewing my old application before preparing a study permit application, I discovered the incorrect answer for the first time.
I understand I was ultimately responsible for reviewing the application, which I didn't
My main questions:
1.Should I proactively correct/disclose this to IRCC through a web form as I’ve seen online before submitting my study permit application, or disclose it with the new application?
2. Will my current visitor visa be revoked?
3. I can only defer my masters admission once which I already did for January 2027 and I’m worried the process of disclosing before the new permit application will take time before I can apply for it.
