Hi Everyone
My parents visited me in Canada and just before their planned flight, my father passed away in Canada and hence I had applied visitor visa extension visitor my mother since she was not in a emotionally stable state to travel back. Have few questions related to this and your response will be very helpful during this time
1. How long does a visitor visa extension take , the website mentioned 140 days, is it that long ?
2. Since my mother is in a visitor visa which is valid for 10 years (multiple entry). Can she enter Canada for 6 months , go to India for a week and then again come back immediately or will it raise any concerns ?.
3. I will also be applying for a super visa for her, may I know if stating that she needs to stay with me for a longer time for emotional support is a good reason ? Or will it give an impression that she might stay in Canada permanently and lead to application rejection
