I had 8 years of continuous experience in NOC 2173 in the US, and have 1.2 years of experience in NOC 2171 in Canada. As my length of stay in Canada has crossed 1 year of stay, am eligible for CEC class now. I gave the NOC of 2173 as my primary NOC in the EE profile as that is the dominant NOC I have widely used. I have also got a NOI from OINP HCP Tech .I have a doubt now -> as I haven't worked in my primary NOC within Canada, will this cause any issue to get the nomination from Ontario ? I have spent 90% of my time in my career in the primary NOC, and so felt more comfortable in using that NOC as my primary NOC. Please let me know.

awesome. did you get more information if that's allowed or going to be approved?

the oinp website is a bit vague on this. we have foreign experience on 2173 but noc 2171 made us qualified for CEC.
