Hello,

Could you please help me understand how my skilled work experience will be evaluated in the context of CRS for express entry? I have a somewhat unusual mix of a little bit of Canadian work experience adding to foreign work experience:
- I have 6 months full time skilled work experience in Canada (following my graduation from a Canadian University).
- Then, I also have about 2 years and 9 months skilled foreign work experience in the US (in the same TEER)

So in the CRS calculator tool:
- in response to "In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?", I have to respond "None or less than a year"
- then in response to "In the last 10 years, how many total years of foreign skilled work experience do you have?", I have to respond "2 years" rather than "3 years" because it specifies 'foreign'.

It strikes me that what they really are/should be interested in in that second question is my total overall work experience which is more than 3 years and this would add a much-needed 20 CRS points to my score. Do you think this will be evaluated in my favor in the actual evaluation of my case, i.e., will there be somebody smarter than the CRS calculator who can see that I have 3+ years of experience and credit me accordingly?

Thank you very much for any help!
