Two months? Wow that sounds unbearable.. :'(scylla said:It's typically due to application volumes. The Mississauga processing time regularly goes up and down. Not too long ago it was around the two month mark.
Not sure I would agreed that an extra month of waiting unbearable. A pain in the *ss? Yes. Unbearable? Not by a long shot.Mrs.Purcy said:Two months? Wow that sounds unbearable.. :'(
Ya it's especially hard when you have to be away from your partner during the process.Chevy23 said:Yh this is nothing I applied in December when processing was 28 days and it took 95 days for me to get SA
Luckily I'm a London applicant and should hopefully get pr this year there's a lot of people on here with much much longer processing times I really do feel for those people
Agreed. I *censored word*ed and moaned about how long it took for the wife's PR application. However, at least the wife is from a visa exempt country that allows her to travel to Canada. I can't imagine having to wait 30 months. 47 days is a drop in the bucket.mikeymyke said:And also, not to make light of your situation too, but my wife's visa office has a 30 month processing time, and a low acceptance rate (72%), but London has a ridiculously high acceptance rate and their processing time isn't too shabby. Also as a UK citizen, he has a far easier time coming to visit you than my wife does. My wife's country is so shady, its one of 30 or so countries that demand biometric data prior to entry.
Waiting is tough, but just remember you're going to have a much easier ride than most people who have spouses in other less developed countries.
That's what I thought. But I didn't want to say this because I was worried my memory was faulty.canvis2006 said:this is nothing.
Back in 2012 it was around 90-120 days during these months, damn long time
Well my sponsorship will be 2years in November cos my processing time is 32 months, still waitingscylla said:That's what I thought. But I didn't want to say this because I was worried my memory was faulty.
It was around a month and a half when my husband applied in 2010.
I completely agree!mikeymyke said:It is hard, but that's why us as Canadians, who usually have a non visa-exempt spouse, should make the effort of visiting them more often.
