Hello Surya, congrats on getting the PP stamped. Would you mind telling me the validity of the visa ? is it 1 yr from the time of doing medicals?

Yes. I appeared for medicals on August 21, 2014 and the visa is valid till August 25, 2015.

So the wait time for PPR is 1 month now?

I think it still depends on the visa officer who handles your documents. Mine only took 2 weeks after my ecas status changed to MEDICAL HAS BEEN RECEIVED (Feb. 27) knowing that my med results were submitted to the Embassy on Feb. 24, 2015. I got my PPR on March 17, 2015. So from the time that my medical was submitted until PPR it only took 3 weeks

Just waiting for visa now..

yes chararat , i agree with you, i see a lot of people got RPRF request within days of sending the medicals...anyways hoping for the best.

Dear Member,

Similar case happened with me. Similar lines were visible to me but when VO requested Schedule A (after 3 months of medical request) , they actually started processing my case, so at that time second line was added as processing date and medical line was shifted to 3rd line. but since that 3 months passed still stuck on processing stage, neither RPRF has been requested.

Does RPRF Request comes along with PPR Request?

My Ecas only shows

1) We have received your application June 18.

2) Medical results have been received.

some of them Ecas showing: 3)we started processing your application ....date
But my Ecas does not show anything like that? That means

They don't even start process my application??

Anyone same boat?

I have done my medical on March 03,2015. I have received email from CIC requesting for My and my spouse Passport copies. I was surprised that they must ask me to submit original passport for landing sticker. But my lawyer said that CIC do not put a record of Landing in the passport anymore. CIC send us PR card. I am not sure about the changes in rules. If any one can tell me about this.

Hi Folks

Finally got my Ready for Visa email after long 17 months :'( ;D

Ok now I requested my stamping office to be changed to New Delhi as I am in India at present, can any of you from India please help me out with the following queries:

1. Whats the approximate turnaround time for this request to change the stamping office (to New Delhi)?
2. I am assuming that the COPR will be mailed to my current correspondence address? Does CIC use normal post to send the COPR from Canada to India?
3. Is there an option of sending a prepaid Blue Dart/ any other courier envelope to expedite the same and avail the tracking?
