I am currently under LMO work permit which will expire next month, so am I eligible for BOWP ?
Yes you are.

But it's cleared mention on cic:
"If employment restrictions are imposed, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will not issue an open work permit to the foreign national under the bridging open work permit Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exemption."

Call them and ask: I've had closed work permit based on LMO and received BOWP without a problem, so it seems they are thinking about different restrictions or it has changed since last year.

When did you got your BOWP ?
I called CIC last month & they told me processing is 14 months, so I should call them back after 14th Sep (my 14 moths will be done by this date )

I got the first one late August 2014 and I've applied for the 2nd one the day before it expired.

Any idea how much time it takes for PPR after RPRF is paid (online) and Meds are received by CIC?

No idea - I've been waiting for almost 7 months now.

Have you paid RPRF? Which office? Inland or Outland?

Inland. I haven't paid RPRF yet.

Dear all,

My medical exam results have been sent. Since I was treated for TB in the past, i received medical surveillance handout from cic, saying that i need to contact public health authorities for further followup. I have contacted public health center and have been booked too see a doctor later in 2 months (that is the earliest time). Anyone knows if I will still receive PPR during this time or they will wait until I complete the followup since It may take few months to finish this.

Thanks

Ask them what is the status of your application: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

I'm a little confused.

Our PNP PR Application was being processed by CPC - Sydney. Now PPR is asking us to send the Passport to CPC - Ottawa for Visa Stamping. Is this the regular process or are there any issues?

Thanks in advance.

I just gave them a call. I've been told not to expect my application to move forward until mid-december.

Send them a query on the above link I posted.

Also, if you moved recently - use the address change option to update your latest Canadian address. This will speed up the application.

Wish you all the very best dear.
