Hi All,

I sent my application under NOC 4131 FSW on the 13th August, didn't get any reply yet...Next week we will check if draft has been encashed or not.
I'm from Hungary, Europe so I guess it takes time for my application even to arrive to Sydney.

Good luck to all of you!

Hi everyone,

I sent my application last 26/08/09 and was received by CIC office based on the tracker last 01/09/09, I appllied under NOC 1111 FSW.

It's longer now to wait for the AOR, please keep us posted.

Hi Friends,

I have applied on 25th July 2009 from Singapore, All the best to others also. I have a question

Does that mean

1. you will get AOR (Initial OK) from Sydney NS if you Draft is encashed?

2. or it only means you application is opened/under review?

3. or it is 2. plus positve on side to get AOR soon?

Please explain
Regards
Pankaj

The first communication issued by the Canadian immigration Processing Post is the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR). The AOR provides the file number assigned to the application as well as the official receipt for the processing fees paid to the consulate. The issuance of the AOR clearly indicates that the application was received at the immigration processing post and that a file has been created and opened. The AOR does NOT contain the assessment decision for the case.

Canada's immigration policy states that the Canadian Immigration Visa Office will accept/receive of the application if, at a minimum, the application includes:
• Signed and completed application forms;
• A signed statement indicating that the information provided is complete and accurate;
• Payment of the applicable fees;
• Evidence of English and/or French language proficiency, either in the form of the results of an approved language test or a written Statement of Language Proficiency.
If all of the above requirements are met, the Canadian Immigration Visa Office will forward an official Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) to the sender’s mailing address.

If any of the above requirements are missing, the application will be returned to the sender.
