Hi

How long they are taking for 2nd stage of OPNP (Nominee application). Are there any cases where application has taken more than 3 months for nominee application ?

My employer sent them an e-mail last week to request an update regarding the application status as he needs the worker but they didn't reply...

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I have a question.

I applied for PNP under master graduate category on Feb 27,2012. On March 19,2012 they provided me with the file number and requested me to sign the page which I forgot. Today May 3,2012 I got a call from a representative asking me to scan my degree certificate and letter of confirmation from my bank saying that they are my accounts. I'm kind of confused. Has anybody encountered this issue? Also how long would it take to get the certificate from this stage?

I am not discouraging you because some people on this forum had got reply. But if you ask PNP they will say that it will be in three months they have all the documents as per their complete list. But that is not true. I had applied in last Feb 2011 and all the docs were with them by July 2011. And still I haven't got any decision.

Our employer received a response to his request for an update and they advised that our case is on final stage and that they will send us the answer within few weeks....what to say now???This is the answer they have been telling us since December......I just can't understand what's the rationale to hold our application for so long......Why are they playing these games????They could simply refuse or approve it......the same old story over and over again....

Yes, the latest reason my rep told me is the Politics between Jason Kenny and PNP. I do not understand. I heard reasons from the manager being sick to the PNP office got flooded. Also I cannot believe when they told me that the decision has been made and then again in a week that the file is in Manager's Queue.

It seems that it will be a "long engagement"... I would suggest not to wait for the decision..if you have some other opportunities to apply for permanent resident status do not hesitate...I applied under CEC...I hope I will have some luck there...Still I'm trying to follow up with PNP as I just can't accept this behaviour....

Same with me. They really screwed us and I had wasted two years unnecessarily on this. My rep told me that she is going to try in some other category but I am hopeless with their system.
