Hello everyone,

I'm a PR traveling back to Canada in a few weeks. My non-PR wife is traveling with me, she is traveling on an Temporary VIsa. We don't know which line to pick during immigration. She'll be staying with me for 3 weeks and she's bringing the return tickets.

She needs assistance during immigration, because she doesn't speak English.

Can I go together with her in the non-PR line at airport immigration?

If not, what would be the best way for her to proceed through immigration alone?

Thank you.

From my personal experience with my spouse (with a TRV before & PR now), we both went to the TRV section when we travelled. I was told by the CBSA officers that is a right thing to do - PR's and Citizens can go to the TRV side but not the other way around.

Thank you for your answer gopr. Good thing we can go together :)
