where to get nadra marriage certification from in islamabad

Hi all

urgently need some advice, we have been asked to submit nadra marriage certification. any idea where this can be done, we have been to all nadra offices in islamabad n they say islamabad does not issue, only other rural areas.

does anyone know where in islamabad this office is i really need some help as we have been running around trying to find it n no luck, keep getting sent from pillar to post to get it.

Hi.

Just joined, and saw your post while searching for general info.

Best you can do is visit your local Union Council office. This is the office nearest to where you live (both spouses).

Requests for Nadra Marriage Certificates as well as Nadra Divorce Certificates are filed through the UC's.
They in turn forward your request to the Nadra office. Please note that you are not required to visit a Nadra office yourself.

Where did you get married? In case it was in Islamabad, then you need to find a local UC in Islamabad.
In case the marriage took place in some other city, you will be required to visit that particular UC (In some cases, UC's will oblige and help
out even if the marriage/divorce took place in other parts of the country).
