My wife and I landed in Canada in February 2011 and our PR cards expire in March 2016. We moved to settle as permanent residents in December 2013 and have been in Canada since. In the past 5 years, we have been out of the country for 1047 days and we do not have any additional travel plans for the next year. We will be meeting our residency obligation. Given that there are 6 months for our PR cards to expire, we wanted to apply to the CIC office in Nova Scotia to renew our PR cards now. Are we currently eligible to Apply for extending our PR cards or do we have to wait?
