What's the current wait time for a new passport lately?

I know on the website it says around 10 business days without expedite services but still wondering if any new citizen gets his/her passport earlier than that?

One of my friend took just 7 days to get new passport.

If you in the rush 24-48 hours but it costs extra money...regular time 7-10 business days!
